Vision

UKGBE is a mission to unify, industrialise, and restore the Great Benin Nation—brutalised by the British invasion of February 1897. Across our history, movements like this have arisen—sometimes unnamed, sometimes unseen—but always united by one calling: To reclaim the dignity, sovereignty, and unity of our people.

Why it Matters

We mark Benin historic events to celebrate and reignite the flames of Benin unity and glory. It is the sacred charge of UKGBE to commemorate both the 1897 Invasion and the 1914 Restoration each year—to uphold traditions that were never truly lost, only interrupted.
